Two months ago, my friend and I dropped by here for a late lunch. We ordered the beef chow fun, char siu, egg tarts, and char siu pineapple buns. We also got the HK style milk tea as a drink. The beef chow fun definitely had "wok hei". The egg tarts and char siu pineapple buns were surprisingly good. The milk tea was on par as well. On the other hand, the char siu was a bit fatty and dry. Service was quick and friendly. It was a bit expensive for Cantonese dim sum but this is Vegas...

I Love the ambiance. It's a beautiful fine dining Chinese restaurant. There's an open kitchen and bar also. There's only a limited amount of special cocktail selection on their menu but they do serve most other cocktails and beers because it is a full bar. They serve dim sum and Chinese entrees with a little twist on some of their entrees. We ordered 1 dim sum item and a few Chinese entrees. It is overpriced for Chinese cuisine but it's in a hotel so of course prices are elevated. The food was delicious. The Honey walnut shrimp had huge jumbo shrimp and I've haven't had that dish like that. I've had jumbo shrimp in this dish before at another Chinese restaurant but this was larger. Everything was delicious. Service and staff was excellent.

Washing potatoes in Fountainbleu Las Vegas is an experience that's not as glamorous as the luxury hotel's dazzling offerings, but it does stand out in a quirky way. Located within the sprawling property, the process itself is more about novelty than practicality. The setting is certainly upscale, but the activity of washing potatoes is as ordinary as it gets -- unless, of course, you find yourself in a chic kitchen or culinary space, surrounded by the indulgent aura of Las Vegas' luxury. It's a fun experience that may spark curiosity or amusement, especially for anyone looking for a break from the usual extravagance that Vegas is known for. Service was top notch and portions are large. Definitely take some friend to share!

I was stoked to try the Michelin-starred Washing Potato at the Fontainebleau Casino Resort hotel. We snagged a reservation for 4 in the open dining room, which is pretty crammed up but nicely decorated with an open kitchen concept. I wanted to go to Din Tai Fung but decided to check out Washing Potato instead, and it was a great alternative! We got several dim sum dishes, and my friend even got the chicken feet, which were prepared traditionally. My favorite dish was the beef chow fun, as it was very wok-tasting and cooked perfectly. For smaller plates, I loved the xiao long bao, cucumber salad, and the shumai. The squash dumplings were just okay, and the service was good but not stellar. All in all, I gave it 4 stars because while the dishes had great flavor, they were smaller portions for a higher price... but hey, that's Vegas baby :)

I am from Bay area but was still impressed by the food here. BBQ pork pineapple bun was fantastic & better than most in Bay area, great crust & had generous delish fillings: beef chow fun was great with QQ noodle texture & good wokhei, 1 piece of beef was excessively salty but others were fine; egg tart was not overly sweet, thin crust & melted in the mouth. BBQ pork (charsiu) & HK milk tea were just ok but not spectacular Love the ambiance & fast friendly service

100/10 Washing Potato has to be one of my favorite restaurants in Vegas. From Asian comfort food favorites like Congee to perfectly spiced meats like the Sichuan Beef, there's a lot of different and delicious options available at Washing Potato. Like many restaurants in Vegas there's lights, music, and it's a little dark (even during the lunch hour), but don't let those things dissuade you from coming here to eat. The service was impeccable. We ordered a lot of food for just two people but I'm so glad that we did because we got to try a little bit of everything at the Washing Potato. Small side note: the lemon tea was very strong with some bitter notes--and I loved it, however, it may not be everyone's "cup of tea".

The restaurant is beautiful and the service was great. I can see all of the lights that could transform this restaurant into a venue that feels entirely different, and during a normal dinner service it had a nice, elevated ambiance. The food was good. We got some favorite staples including Har gow, shumai and char siu steamed bao. All of these were tasty and ranked with the expectations I have for good dim sum. The salt and pepper shrimp was tasty, and COVERED in a fried garlic mixture you could eat spoonfuls of (if you don't mind torturing the people you're hanging out for the rest of the night).
